Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) (3.6L)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil fill cap (1).
2. Disengage the cover/shield (2) from the ball studs by pulling up firmly on the right and left front of the engine cover.
3. Pull the fuel injector sight shield forward to remove from the rear tabs (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Raise the front edge of the fuel injector sight shield (2) while inserting the rear tabs (3).
2. Lower the front edge of the fuel injector sight shield and slide fuel injector sight shield rearward so that the rear tabs slide under the retainers.
3. Align the fuel injector sight shield over the oil fill tube.
4. Press the fuel injector sight shield down firmly on the ball stud at the right front corner.
5. Install the oil fill cap (1).
