Garage Door Opener Transmitter Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Roof Console Replacement).




2. Remove the screws (1) securing the garage door opener to the overhead console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Locate the garage door opener to the overhead console.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the screws (1) securing the garage door opener the overhead console and tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Roof Console Replacement).
5. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) for programming and setup information.
