Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side (AWD)

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon) Service and RepairBattery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe) Service and Repair.
2. Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
3. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Coupe) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LSA-Sedan/Wagon) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Sedan/Wagon) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Coupe) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust) Service and Repair.
4. Remove the upper engine mount retaining nut (1).




5. Remove the lower engine mount retaining nuts.
6. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.

Note: Note position of the engine mount prior to removing mount.

7. Using the screw jack, raise the engine enough to remove the engine mount.
8. Remove the engine mount (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Note: Ensure the engine mount is positioned correctly.

1. Install the engine mount (1) to the vehicle.
2. Using the screw jack, lower the engine.
3. Remove the screw jack and block of wood supporting the engine.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut (1) and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
5. Install the right and left lower engine mount retaining nuts and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
6. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Coupe) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LSA-Sedan/Wagon) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Sedan/Wagon) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Coupe) Service and RepairExhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust) Service and Repair.
7. Install the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
8. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon) Service and RepairBattery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe) Service and Repair.
