Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LSA)

J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LSA) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LSA) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1, LLT,LFW or LFX) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LF1, LLT,LFW or LFX) Service and Repair.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair
3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement




4. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at radiator using J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
5. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator.




6. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at engine oil cooler pipe using J
47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) from the engine oil cooler pipe.
8. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) at engine using J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
9. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) from the engine.
10. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the engine.
3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) at engine using J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
4. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the engine oil cooler pipe.
5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at engine oil cooler pipe using J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.




6. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the radiator.
7. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at radiator using J 47622 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
8. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement
9. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair
10. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LSA) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LSA) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1, LLT,LFW or LFX) Service and RepairCooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LF1, LLT,LFW or LFX) Service and Repair.
