Diagnostic Fault Information
Circuit/System Description
The front door power window motors communicate with the driver door lock/window switch and passenger door lock/window switch via serial data. The motors contain a logic module which must be normalized or programmed any time the window motor is serviced to provide proper operation and communication between door modules and window motors.

Ignition ON
Conditions for Setting the DTC
B320A 39
An internal malfunction or a momentary voltage spike has been detected by the driver door lock/window switch or passenger door lock/window switch in the front power window motor while commanding the window UP and DOWN.
B320A 42 or B320A 4B
A not normalized or programmed driver or front passenger door power window motor occur under the following conditions:
* When the battery has been disconnected
* When the battery has been replaced
* When the door wiring harness has been disconnected
* When the window motor has been disconnected.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
B320A 39
The motor will be inoperative.
B320A 42, B320A 4B
The motor will not perform the express up or express down functions.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
B320A 39
The appropriate window motor must be replaced before the DTC can be cleared.
B320A 42
The appropriate power window motor must be programmed before the DTC can be cleared.
B320A 4B
The appropriate power window motor must be calibrated before the DTC can be cleared.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify the driver and passenger functions while commanding the Door Window Test with a scan tool.
• If the Up and Down does not work
Replace the appropriate window motor.
• If the Up and Down works
3. Verify the driver and passenger window performs the Express Up and Express Down functions with the driver window switch.
• If a window does not Express Up and Express Down
Normalize the window motor, refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function Testing and Inspection.
• If the window performs the Express Up and Express Down functions
4. All OK.
