Diagnostic Fault Information
Circuit/System Description
When a passenger rear seat easy entry switch is pressed, battery voltage is applied through the switch signal circuit to the memory seat module (MSM). The MSM then commands the passenger seat horizontal motor to move in response to the switch signal. When the passenger seat horizontal switch is pressed, battery voltage is applied through the switch signal circuit to the MSM. The MSM then commands the passenger seat horizontal motor to move in response to the switch signal.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The MSM must be powered.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
B3603 01 or B360C 01
* If the transmission is out of the park position and the driver rear seat easy entry forward switch is stuck or the circuit is shorted to voltage, this DTC will set.
* If the transmission is out of the park position and the driver rear seat easy entry rearward switch is stuck or the circuit is shorted to voltage, this DTC will set.
B360D 01 or B360E 01
* If the transmission is out of the park position and the passenger rear seat easy entry forward switch is stuck or the circuit is shorted to voltage, this DTC will set.
* If the transmission is out of the park position and the passenger rear seat easy entry rearward switch is stuck or the circuit is shorted to voltage, this DTC will set.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
B3603 01 or B360C 01
* The rear seat easy entry switch input commands for the driver seat are ignored.
* The MSM will respond to any other switch signal that has not set a DTC.
B360D 01 or B360E 01
* The rear seat easy entry switch input commands for the passenger front seat are ignored.
* The MSM will respond to any other switch signal that has not set a DTC.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
* The current DTC will clear and set the code to history, 3 seconds after the fault is no longer present and the ignition is cycled OFF then back to ACC or RUN.
* The history DTC will clear after 50 consecutive fault-free ignition cycles have occurred.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify that DTC B1755, B1760, B2000 or B2005 is not set.
• If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.
• If none of the DTCs are set
3. Verify the scan tool Seat 1 Inputs parameters listed below change between Active and Inactive when pressing and releasing the driver rear seat easy entry switch in both directions.
* Horizontal/Easy Entry Forward Sw.
* Horizontal/Easy Entry Rearward Sw.
• If the parameter does not change
Refer to DTC B1735, B1740, B1745, B1750, B1755, B1760, B1815, or B1820 (Sedan, Wagon) Sedan, WagonDTC B1735, B1740, B1745, B1750, B1755, B1760, B1815, or B1820 (Coupe) Coupe.
• If the parameter changes
4. Verify the scan tool Seat 2 Inputs parameters listed below change between Active and Inactive when pressing and releasing the passenger rear seat easy entry switch in both directions.
* Horizontal/Easy Entry Forward Sw.
* Horizontal/Easy Entry Rearward Sw.
• If the parameter does not change
Refer to DTC B2000 or B2005 B2000.
• If the parameter changes
5. All OK.
