DTC B390C 66
- Incorrect Mounting

Circuit/System Description

The B233 Radar Sensor Module - Long Range could not auto align properly as a result of the module being out of position. After alignment calibration process has begun, the B233 Radar Sensor Module - Long Range will attempt to align itself for approximately 30 minutes of driving time.

Conditions for Running the DTC

* Module alignment procedure started.

* Vehicle operating on the road.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The module was unable to complete alignment process within approximately 30 minutes of drive time.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

* The module is disabled.

* Active Safety System is disabled.

* Service Driver Assist displayed on DIC and/or HUD.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The module is successfully aligned.

Diagnostic Aids

* The B233 Radar Sensor Module - Long Range needs to be securely mounted. Verify it is secured properly in it's mount.

* The B233 Radar Sensor Module - Long Range can be aligned on the same alignment drive as the K109 Frontview Camera Module.

Circuit/System Verification

1. Ignition ON.

2. Verify there are no DTCs other than B101E 4B from the Radar Module or K109 Frontview Camera Module.

If other DTCs exist
Correct them first. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.

If no other DTCs exist
Conduct alignment procedure. Refer to Control Module References Control Module References.

3. Verify DTC B390C 66 is not set

If DTC B390C 66 is set
Replace and align B233 Radar Sensor Module - Long Range.

If DTC B390C 66 is not set

4. All OK.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification Verification Tests after completing the repair.
