Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor Trim Height Calibration
Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor Trim Height Calibration
Rear Leveling Trimset Procedure
A leveling wheel height sensor learn must be performed anytime a rear sensor is either removed/reinstalled or replaced.
1. If the K19 Suspension Control Module has been replaced, follow the instructions of Electronic Suspension Control Module Programming and Setup Programming and Relearning before going over to the next step.
2. The vehicle must be placed on a flat surface at curb position prior to performing the leveling learn procedure.
3. Remove any excess weight from vehicle.
4. Roll the vehicle at least 1.5 m (5 ft) to remove any residual suspension binding due to tire scrub.
5. Ignition ON, engine running idle. Wait until the vehicle has reached it's nominal suspension position.
6. Engine OFF.
7. Measure and record the distance from the top of the wheel opening to the center of the wheel (modified R-height) in millimeters at both rear wheels.
8. Connect a scan tool.
9. Set the vehicle in Run Power Mode (press and hold the start button for 5 s until green indicator light illuminates).
10. Initiate the Rear Suspension Position Sensor Trim Height procedure with the scan tool.
11. Enter the recorded values for both sides of the vehicle when prompted by the on screen instructions.
12. Ignition OFF, disconnect the scan tool.
13. Ignition ON, start the engine and allow the vehicle to reach its leveling position.
Once the process has been completed, the system should be fully functional.
