Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Insulator Replacement

-DT-50806-5 Bushing Tool

-J-45725-2 Frame Bushing Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure

1.Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement Service and Repair .





2.Mark installation position of the insulator (2) at frame (1).





Note:Drill holes into the insulator rubber to ease removal of the core.

3.Cut out frame insulator core (1) from frame insulator (2).





4.Remove frame insulator core (1) from outer frame insulator (2).





5.Remove the frame insulator (3) from drivetrain and front suspension frame (1) using a chisel (2) or equivalent.

Installation Procedure





1.Align the insulator tab (2) with the alignment marks (1) on the frame.

2.Carefully install the frame insulator into the front suspension frame using
J-45725-2 installer and
DT-50806-5 tool.

3.Install the frame to the body. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement Service and Repair .
