Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

Remove injection nozzle, then connect suitable tester and gauge following tool manufacturer's instructions. Operate tester handle several times and observe gauge reading just before oil is sprayed from injector tip. Minimum injection nozzle opening pressure should be 1706 psi. Spray pattern should be uniform and injected at the correct angle of the nozzle being tested.
