Subject: RIGHT-FRONT SUSPENSION CLUNK OR SQUEAK


Model and Year: 1991 CAPRICE


Condition: A clunk or squeak noise (from the-front suspension) may be heard on some 1991 B-cars.

Cause: The bolt for the front ABS wheel speed sensor wire bracket may contact the coil spring.

Correction: A 12 mm bolt was released for production after VIN # W108557. If this condition occurs on vehicles built prior to this, replace the 16 mm bolt with a 12 mm bolt, P/N 11513914.
