Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

The Tech 1 scan tool displays grams per second. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) converts the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor input signal into grams per second, indicating the amount of air flow entering the engine. A failure in the MAF sensor circuit should result in a Diagnostic Trouble Code, Code 48 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit. Testing and Inspection
