Inside Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.

2. Remove the center instrument panel accessory trim plate.

3. Remove the drivers knee bolster trim panel.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Unclip the sensor from the drivers knee bolster trim panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Clip the sensor into the drivers knee bolster trim panel.

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Align the sensor with the aspirator rear duct, as the drivers knee bolster trim panel is being installed onto the Instrument Panel (I/P).

IMPORTANT: The inside air temperature sensor must be aligned with and fit over the end of the aspirator rear duct.

4. Install the drivers knee bolster trim panel.

5. Install the center instrument panel accessory trim plate.

6. Connect the negative battery cable.
