REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.

2. Remove the Instrument Panel (I/P) accessory trim plate.

3. Remove the two heater and A/C control head screws.

4. Disconnect the temperature control vacuum harness.

5. Disconnect the electrical harness.

6. Remove the heater and A/C control head from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the electrical connector.

2. Connect the temperature control vacuum harness.

3. Install the heater A/C control head.

4. Install the two screws.

- Tighten the two screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb. in).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the I/P accessory trim panel.

6. Connect the negative battery cable.
