EGR Valve: Service and Repair

EGR Valve Service:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the EGR valve.
2. Remove the 2 base to flange nuts.
3. Remove the linear EGR valve assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the Linear EGR valve assembly and hand start the two nuts holding the EGR Valve to the adapter.

Tighten
Nuts to 29 Nm (21 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector.
