The Coast Position

With the button switch fully depressed, the cruise speed may be raised or lowered. Complete the following steps in order to increase the cruise speed:
1. Accelerate to a new speed.
2. Fully depress the switch (the controller releases the previously set speed).
3. Release the button.

When the button is released, the new speed is set. An increased cruise speed may also be set with the off/on/resume/accel switch as previously described.

Complete the following steps in order to decrease the cruise speed:
1. Fully depress and hold the switch. The controller releases the previously set speed. The throttle returns to idle.
2. When the vehicle has slowed to the desired cruise speed, release the switch. The system engages at the lower speed.
