Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the Brake Pressure Sensor connector.





3. Remove the Brake Pressure Sensor (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Make sure the O ring (1) is installed properly on the Brake Pressure Sensor (2).





2. Install the Brake Pressure Sensor (3).
- Tighten the Brake Pressure Sensor to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Connect the Brake Pressure Sensor connector.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
5. Perform the Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) in Hydraulic Brakes.
6. Perform the Diagnostic System Check (ABS).
