Rear Camber Adjustment

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the strut from the vehicle.
4. Place the strut in a vise.
5. File the upper strut to knuckle attaching hole laterally (3) (oblong) compared to before filing (2).

Installation Procedure

Important: Check the toe after changing the camber.

1. Install the strut to the vehicle. Do not tighten the bolts yet.
2. Install the strut to body bolts and install the brake hose bracket.
3. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
4. Lower the vehicle.

NOTICE: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement of fasteners requiring thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and system.

5. Adjust the camber (1).

Tighten
- Tighten the strut to knuckle nuts to 112 N.m (83 ft. lbs.).
