Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. On sedan models only, remove the upper trim panel from the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the side upper garnish molding from the windshield.
3. Remove the quarter trim panel.
4. Remove the floor carpet retainer.




5. Pull the weatherstrip from the pinch weld flange.

Installation Procedure






Notice: Obtain full weatherstrip engagement on pinch-weld flange especially in corners of door opening.

1. Push the weatherstrip onto the pinch weld flange.
2. Install the floor carpet retainer.
3. Install the quarter trim panel.
4. Install the side upper garnish molding to the windshield.
5. On sedan models only, install the upper trim panel to the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
