Front Fender Replacement

Removal Procedure

Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

1. Raise the hood.
2. Tape the edges of the fender in order to protect the fender from scratching.
3. Remove the front wheelhouse panel splash shield.
4. Remove the front wheelhouse panel liner.
5. Remove the bumper fascia from the front fender.




6. Remove the front fender front brace bolt (2).




7. Remove the front fender rear center bracket from the front fender bolt (2).




8. Remove the front fender lower bolts (2).




9. Remove the front fender upper bolts (1).
10. Remove the front fender (2).




11. Remove the front fender rear center bracket nut (1).




12. Remove the front fender rear center bracket from the body bolt (1).
13. Remove the front fender rear center bracket (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front fender rear center bracket (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the front fender rear center bracket to the body bolts (1).

Tighten the front fender rear center bracket to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the front fender rear center bracket nut (1).




4. Install the front fender (2).
5. Install the front fender upper bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




6. Install the front fender lower bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




7. Install the front fender rear center bracket to the front fender bolt (2).

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




8. Install the front fender front brace bolt (2).

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

9. Install the bumper fascia to the front fender.
10. Install the front wheelhouse panel liner.
11. Install the front wheelhouse panel splash shield.
