Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the rear bolt (1) from the front end sheet metal diagonal brace (2,5) at the front wheelhouse.
3. Remove the bolts from the front end sheet metal diagonal brace at the upper tie bar.
4. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front end sheet metal diagonal brace (2,5) to the upper tie bar and the front wheel house.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front end sheet metal diagonal brace bolts (1) to the upper tie bar.

Tighten the front end sheet metal diagonal brace front bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the rear bolt to the front end sheet metal diagonal brace at the front wheelhouse.

Tighten the front end sheet metal diagonal brace rear bolt to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

4. Close the hood.
