AIR CLEANER OUTLET RESONATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Loosen the vent hose clamp at the air cleaner resonator.
2. Loosen the air cleaner intake duct clamp at the air cleaner outlet resonator.
3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet resonator to throttle body clamp, located forward of the accelerator cable bracket.
4. Remove the air cleaner resonator to accelerator bracket bolt.
5. Remove the resonator from the throttle body, the air cleaner intake duct and the vent hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the resonator to the throttle body, the air cleaner intake duct and the vent hose.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the air cleaner resonator to the throttle body clamp.

Tighten the clamp to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the air cleaner intake duct clamp.

Tighten the clamp to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

4. Install the vent hose clamp.
