Attention:
Use GMVIS to determine the vehicle build date.

Condition

Some customers may comment that the remote keyless entry (RKE) is inoperative. This condition may be intermittent.

Cause

The cause of this condition may be due to logic lock-up of the remote control door lock receiver.

Correction

Important:
This correction will not correct a poor range condition.

First verify that the customer concern is related to an inoperative condition and not poor range. If the concern is for poor range, DO NOT proceed with this bulletin.

If the vehicle was built prior to June 1, 2006, replace the remote control door lock transmitter and reprogram the remote control door lock receiver with the latest software using SPS.

If the vehicle was built after and including June 1, 2006, reprogram the remote door lock receiver module only. The new calibrations are currently on TIS2WEB.
