Front Seat Adjuster Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat belt pretensioner and buckle. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement .
3. Remove the seat cushion cover and foam. Refer to LINK .




4. For non-power seats, remove the adjuster adjustment bar.




5. Reposition the lumbar pump, if equipped.
6. Remove the tie straps and reposition the pump and pouch up through the seat support wires .
7. Remove the seat belt harness from the left seat frame.
8. Remove the memory seat control module, if equipped.




9. Remove the fasteners mounting the seat to the adjuster.
10. Remove the adjuster.
11. Transfer the parts as necessary.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

1. Install the adjuster to the seat. Tighten the fasteners to the seat.

Tighten the adjuster fasteners to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).





2. For non-power seats, align the adjusters with their locking pawls engaged in the same slots side to side.
3. Install the seat adjuster adjustment bar.




4. Install the lumbar pump, if equipped.
Tie strap the pump to the torque tube.
5. Connect the seat belt harness to the left seat.




6. Install the memory seat control module to the seat spring wire, if equipped.




7. Install the seat belt pretensioner and buckle. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement .
8. Install the seat cushion foam and cover. Refer to LINK .
9. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
