Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Malfunction
Diagnostic Fault Information

Circuit/System Description
The body control module (BCM) monitors the ignition mode signal from the ignition mode switch, battery condition and the doors status to determine whether RAP should be initiated.
Circuit/System Testing
1. While opening and closing all doors, observe the scan tool door ajar switch parameters. Parameter should switch between open and closed.
• If not the specified parameter, refer to Symptoms - Vehicle Access. Symptoms - Vehicle Access
2. With all doors closed, observe the scan tool Auxiliary parameter. Cycle the ignition key to the RUN position then back to OFF, power mode parameter should display ON, wait approximately 10 minutes, power mode parameter should display OFF.
• If not the specified parameter, replace the BCM.
