Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the throttle body.
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
3. Remove the MAP sensor and the MAP sensor port seal if it is still retained in the intake manifold.


Installation Procedure




1. Install the MAP sensor with the port seal into the intake manifold.
2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor.
3. Install the throttle body.
