High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement (Rear Spoiler)

Removal Procedure




Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Notchback) (Rear Spoiler Replacement (Notchback))Rear Spoiler Replacement (Hatchback) (Rear Spoiler Replacement (Hatchback)).
3. Remove the screws and the spoiler CHMSL.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.


Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the spoiler CHMSL with the screws.

Tighten the CHMSL mounting screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Install the spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Notchback) (Rear Spoiler Replacement (Notchback))Rear Spoiler Replacement (Hatchback) (Rear Spoiler Replacement (Hatchback)).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
