Subject: Engine Coolant Thermostat Now Available for Service Use
Models:
2004-2008 Chevrolet Aveo
2005-2008 Pontiac Wave (Canada Only)
with 1.6L 4-Cylinder Engine (VIN 6, E - RPO LXT, L91)
The engine coolant thermostat is now available for service as a separate part. The thermostat was formerly available as part of the entire engine coolant thermostat housing assembly.
DO NOT replace the entire engine coolant thermostat housing assembly if only the engine coolant thermostat is required. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement in SI.
