Roof Lift Off Panel Rear Locator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear roof bow center interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Mark the location of the locator bracket.
3. Remove the locator bracket mounting bolts.
4. Remove the locator and bracket.
5. Mark the location of the locator.
6. Remove the locator from the bracket.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

1. Install the rear locator to the locator bracket.

Tighten the roof rear locator to locator bracket bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the bracket with the locator to the roof center bow.

Tighten the roof rear locator bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Check and adjust the roof panel as necessary. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment (Adjustments) .
4. Install the roof bow center interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
