Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the power steering pressure hose (2) from the power steering pump (1).
3. Remove the power steering pressure hose (2) from the power steering gear.
4. Remove the power steering pressure hose (2) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .
2. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering gear.
Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
3. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering pump (1).
Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
4. Install the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (Service and Repair) .
