Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Left Front (Convertible)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the driver seat. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the intermediate carpet. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement (Convertible) (Service and Repair)Intermediate Carpet Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the bolts attaching the retractor (1).
4. Remove the bolt securing the seat belt anchor to the seat.
5. Remove the retractor (2) assembly from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the retractor assembly in the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the retractor (2) and seat belt anchor bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 41 N.m (31 lb ft).

3. Install the intermeddle carpet. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement (Convertible) (Service and Repair)Intermediate Carpet Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the driver seat. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
