Condition
Some customers may comment that the vehicle will intermittently not crank or start when the key is rotated to the start position.
In some no crank cases, the customer may comment that the vehicle will not crank on subsequent attempts when rotating the key from the ACC position to the START position. Often the vehicle will crank and start if the key is removed from the ignition switch and then re-inserted and rotated to the START position.
Upon further investigation, the technician may find DTC P0604, P0606 or P16F3 set as current or in history. In some cases there may be no DTCs stored.
