Limited Slip Differential Assemble




1. Install the clutch disc thrust washers (4) on the pinion side gears with the bevel facing out.




2. Install the clutch pack (3) on the side gear (5).
3. Install the spacer (2) on the side gear (5).




4. Install the side gear assembly (1) in the differential case 92).




5. Install the thrust washers (4), pinion gears (3), pinion shaft (2), and the lock pin (1) in the differential housing (5).




6. Position the side gear assembly (1) on the pinion gear assembly (2).




7. Install the differential case halves (1).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

Note: Start the differential case bolts by hand and tighten in an alternating sequence.

8. Install the differential case bolts in and tighten in sequence to 74 Nm (55 lb ft).
