Folding Top Number 5 Bow Link Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Prying against the folding top rails could result in damage to parts.

1. Roll back the front and rear corners of the top cover. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement (Folding Top Cover Replacement).
2. Position the folding top with the number one bow and the number five bow up, to access fasteners and minimize tension on pins and linkage.
3. Remove the number five link spring flex clip (1).
4. Remove the number five link pin (2).
5. Disconnect the pivot ball from the five link (3).
6. Remove the number five link (4).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the number five link (4).
2. connect the pivot ball to the five link (3).
3. Install the number five pin (2).
4. Install the five spring flex clip (1).
5. Install the front and rear corners of the top cover. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement (Folding Top Cover Replacement).
6. Ensure that the folding top is in alignment with door windows.
