Valve Lifter Installation




1. Coat the valve lifters using prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent.
2. Install the valve lifters in their original locations.
3. Apply thread lock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or the equivalent to the threads.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the valve lifter guides and guide bolts, and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
