Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the EVAP canister vent.
2. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hose from the EVAP canister.
3. Remove the EVAP canister bracket retaining bolt.
4. Remove the EVAP canister (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP canister (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the EVAP canister bracket retaining bolt.

Tighten evaporative emission canister bracket retaining bolt to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Connect the inlet and outlet hose to the EVAP canister.
4. Install the EVAP canister vent.
