Ignition and Start Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.




2. Remove the screws (6, 7, 8) and the lower steering column cover panel (5).




3. Turn the key to the RUN position.
4. Remove the ignition switch screw (1).
5. Remove the ignition switch (2).
6. Disconnect the ignition switch connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Ensure the key is in the RUN position.
2. Install the ignition switch (2) and the screw (1).
3. Connect the ignition switch connector.




4. Install the lower steering column cover panel (5) and the screws (6, 7, 8).
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
