PCV Valve Hose: Service and Repair

Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear (Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear)
2. Remove the two intake manifold insulator retaining pins (1).
3. Remove the intake manifold insulator (2).




4. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the left camshaft cover.
5. Remove the PCV fresh air tube from the air inlet.




6. Remove the PCV dirty air tube (1) from the right camshaft cover (2).
7. Remove the PCV dirty air tube (1) from the intake manifold (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the PCV dirty air tube (1) to the intake manifold (3).
2. Install the PCV dirty air tube (1) to the right camshaft cover (2).




3. Install the PCV fresh air tube to the air inlet.
4. Install the PCV fresh air tube to the left camshaft cover.




5. Install the intake manifold insulator (2).
6. Install the two intake manifold insulator retaining pins (1).
7. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear (Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear)
