Limited Slip Differential Disassemble




1. Remove the differential case bolts (1).




2. Separate the differential case halves (1).




3. Remove the side gear assembly (1) from the differential case halve (2).




4. Remove the lock pin (1), thrust washers (4), pinion gears (3) and the pinion shaft (2).




5. Remove the left side gear assembly (1) from the left differential case (2).





Note: Clutch disc and plates develop wear patterns. Keep the components in the order in which they were removed.

6. Remove the washer (2), clutch pack (3) and the spring washer (4) from the side gear (5).
