Exhaust Manifold Cleaning and Inspection (1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW)




1. Clean the exhaust manifold (1) in solvent.

Warning

Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

2. Dry the exhaust manifold (1) with compressed air.
3. An exhaust manifold leak or damage may cause an exhaust leak and may effect OBD II system performance. A damaged exhaust must be replaced.
