Note: Inspect the output shaft gear subassembly before disassemble. Refer to Gears and Shafts Cleaning and Inspection 8. Gears and Shafts Cleaning and Inspection.

Using a hydraulic press and J 22912-B - split plate bearing puller, remove the tapered roller bearing.
