Rear Toe Adjustment





1. Verify the alignment on an alignment rack. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement Wheel Alignment Measurement.

Caution:
This bolt is designed to permanently stretch when tightened, and therefore MUST be replaced anytime it is removed. The correct part number fastener must be used to replace this type of fastener. Do not use a bolt that is stronger in this application. If the correct bolt is not used, the parts will not be tightened correctly. The system or the components may be damaged.

2. Remove and discard the control arm bolt (2). DO NOT re-use, replace with NEW only.

3. Install the NEW control arm bolt (2).

4. Rotate the cam nut (1) in order to adjust the toe angle. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement Wheel Alignment Measurement.

Note:
Do not tighten the NEW bolts. Leave the NEW bolts loose to allow for adjustment.

5. Hand tighten the cam nut (1), but do not tighten the nuts (1) to the specification yet.

6. Verify the rear toe angle and adjust as necessary.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

Note:
Hold the suspension bolt so as not to allow it to rotate in either direction.

7. Tighten the cam nut (1) to 150 Nm (111 lb ft).

8. Lower the vehicle.
