Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear roof bow center interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement.





2. Mark the location of the locator bracket.

3. Remove the locator bracket mounting bolts.

4. Remove the locator and bracket.

5. Mark the location of the locator.

6. Remove the locator from the bracket.

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the rear locator to the locator bracket.

Tighten the roof rear locator to locator bracket bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

2. Install the bracket with the locator to the roof center bow.

Tighten the roof rear locator bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

3. Check and adjust the roof panel as necessary. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment Adjustments.

4. Install the roof bow center interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement Rear Roof Bow Trim Panel Replacement.
