Transmission Vent Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the reverse lockout solenoid. Refer to Reverse Lockout Solenoid Replacement Reverse Lockout Solenoid Replacement.

3. Remove the transmission vent tube retaining bolt.

4. Remove the transmission vent tube.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transmission vent tube.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the transmission vent tube retaining bolt.

Tighten the transmission vent tube retaining bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

3. Install the reverse lockout solenoid. Refer to Reverse Lockout Solenoid Replacement Reverse Lockout Solenoid Replacement.

4. Lower the vehicle.
