Rough 1-2 Shift

1. Vacuum modulator, check for loose fittings, restrictions in line or defective modulator assembly.

2. Modulator valve stuck.

3. Valve body regulator or boost valve stuck.

4. Pump to case gasket improperly positioned or damaged.

5. Check case for porosity.

6. Check 1-2 accumulator assembly for damaged oil rings, stuck piston, broken or missing spring, or damaged case bore.

7. Improper number and location of check balls in case.

8. On 250 and 250C:

a. Intermediate band improperly adjusted.

b. Improper or broken servo spring.

9. On 350 and 350C:

a. Burned intermediate clutch plates.

b. Improper number of intermediate clutch plates.
