Timing specification 4° at 700 rpm

NOTE: Timed at number 1 cylinder with engine at normal operating temperature and distributor vacuum advance hose disconnected and plugged. On models with timing pointer mounted on oil pan, time engine at # 8 spark plug wire.

CAUTION: Always check the underhood emissions label (if available). Specifications and procedures on the underhood emissions label supercede all others.
