Cruise Control Module: Description and Operation

The electronic cruise control module continually interprets the setting of the mode control switches, the position of the servo linkage to the throttle and the output of the vehicle speed sensor. In response to these inputs, the control module electrically signals the momentary opening or closing of the vacuum and vent solenoid valves in the servo unit.
