The HYDRA-MATIC 4L80-E Transmission bottom pan seal (29) is reusable. When removing the bottom pan (28) it is recommended to inspect the seal for any possible leak points that may cause future concerns:

Tears in the rubber bead Missing torque limiters or washers Broken carrier seal

If no signs have been found, then clean off seal with clean soft cloth. Clean case and pan areas with part solvent before reinstalling seal.
