Service Procedure

1. Release the hood latch by pulling the handle located under the dash to the right of the steering wheel.
2. Release the secondary hood latch.
3. Lift the hood, release the hood prop from its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot in the hood.





4. Clean the fan shroud surface (see shaded area in Figure 1) before installing the label. If the surface is not clean, the label may fail to stick to the surface.
5. Peel backing away from label.
6. Install label to the shaded area of the engine fan shroud as shown in Figure 1. Make sure that the print is readable from the front of vehicle. The label is required by law and must be in position as shown.
7. Install "Campaign Identification Label."
8. Release the hood prop and close hood after labels have been installed. Let the hood down and close it firmly.
