Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Loosen the upper air intake duct clamp and remove the duct.
2. Remove the air cleaner mounting bolts.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
- Inspect the seals for damage.
- Inspect the air cleaner element for damage or excessive dirt accumulation. Replace any part as necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the air cleaner assembly.
2. Install the upper intake duct and clamp.

- Tighten the clamp to 4 Nm (40 lb. in.).

3. Install the air cleaner mounting bolt.
- Tighten the bolts to 11 Nm (100 lb. in.).
